What is Reiki?

Simply put, reiki is energetic healing. As we move through life, we gather energy. This energy can come from interacting with other, managing daily stressors, dealing with trauma, and so many more life experiences. This energy, if left unprocessed (as it often does), stays stagnant in our bodies, creating mental and physical tension. Reiki works to move and release that stored energy and tension to bring relaxation, relief, and deep healing on all levels!

Why your pet needs Reiki!

Animals are extremely energetic beings. They build up energy through experiences just like we do. But, not only do our pets carry their own energetic bodies, they also take on the energy of their people! They are the ultimate healers and are great at absorbing the negative energy we carry (how often have you found relief in being with your pet during times of stress, sadness, etc…?). So, how can we repay them for carrying this burden for us? With a Reiki session, of course!

How it works…

During your pet’s Reiki session (which you are encouraged to be present for as the healing energy will usually overflow and benefit you as well!), Sharon, our Reiki practitioner, will tap into the universal healing energy and open up a channel for that energy to into your pet. She will listen intuitively to your pet’s energetic state, balancing out chakras, working out any stuck energy, and encouraging energetic flow and balance within their body.

Your pet will be free to move around the space during the session. Sharon does not need to have her hands physically on their body for the healing to work. That’s the magical thing about energy! Everything is always done at each individual animal’s own pace and within their comfort levels.

Sharon will convey with you anything she learns while tuned in to their energy, suggest some ways to promote healing at home, and hep you decide on a schedule of regular sessions to maintain continued energetic health!
